The dry cake..

Here we start our first recipe with a dry cake…Dry cake is nothing but a combination of desi ingridients…its how you want to end doing something creative of your own..

For this all we need is..

Maida 400gms

Baking powder 2tbsp

Soda 1 tbsp

Cocoa powder(optional)

Vanilla essence 2tsp

Sugar 5tbsp(or as per the sweetness you want)

Malai Or butter 100 gm

Milk powder 2tbsp

Curd 1 tbsp

Milk 20ml

To start the recipe…

First in a bowl put butter or malai watever you want and mix it continously until it gets fluffy… Then in a seive add maida, baking powder, soda and milk powder and sieve it well… Put this mixture in butter and fold it and slowly add some milk,curd and sugar and beat it until it gets fluffy and gives a fluffy smooth texture add vanilla essence and stir it continously

Cover the baking tray or a tiffin with butter and dust it with some maida… Pour that mixture in that tray and keep it to bake…

For baking you can use otg, gas tandoor, cooker, kadhai any thing…

I am using gas tandoor just put the mixture in tandoor in low flame and keep it for 1 hour.

If you make it in otg, you have to bake it in for 30 mins in 180°c

In cooker remove the lid and rubber, put a stand or some sand(you can use it innumerable times while baking in cooker) keep the container and cover it and let it bake for 45 mins

In kadhai put a stand or sand put the container over it, cover it with a plate and let it cook for 45 mins

Tips:

1) in the batter you can add some dry fruits (kaju, badam, kismis, akhroot) any thing of your choice…

2) if you want to make it choclate cake than add cocoa powder and chocolate chips into to the batter

3) if you want to make Christmas cake than add some tutti fruit, dry fruits ,choco chips into it..

My style of dry cake…
